Allows AA25 antenna to be used on systems without voltage output from antenna socket - eg: ICS Nav 4 AAX1 Power Supply/Splitter Box The AAX1 and AAX5 are used to supply d.c. voltage to the range of Active Antennas when d.c. power is not provided by the receiver. The AAX1 is single output while the AAX5 also provides the function of a 5-way splitter unit, allowing the connection of radio navigation equipment, communications, Navtex and broadcast receivers to one antenna. The units are encapsulated in epoxy resin to prevent the ingress of water, and are therefore totally suitable for the marine environment.
